02. Law and Order
Follow Them!
OOC:
1. Be kind and courteous to your fellow hopefuls, applicants, spectators, and participants! We are a community, and we’ll act like one. In-character disputes shouldn’t define OOC interactions. In short: Don’t be a dick.
2. Your display name on the forum should match your character’s name. This is strictly enforced! Once the cast is finalized, the accepted players will receive roles showing their character’s name and talent on the Discord. Refer to this if needed!
3. You must set a profile picture and a hover image for said profile. Please use face claims from games or anime, if possible!
4. You must post 1-2 times a week. If you cannot meet this quota, please message Admin Chiv explaining why. We’re understanding, but we need to know! Violators of this rule will receive an inactivity penalty*.
*The inactivity penalty triples your character’s chances of being selected as a victim or killer, if a killer application is not received.
5. Minimum word count for a post is roughly 150-200 words. But it’s courteous to try to match your FTE partner’s effort!
6. Have fun! This RP should be a good, interesting experience for you. Don’t get stressed or pressed, just get #blessed.
7. Questions/Concerns should be addressed to Admin Chiv via PM on the forum or Discord!
IC:
1. If you are victim, killer, or mastermind, do not spoil it to anyone!
2. If you’re the traitor, don’t spoil your role instantly! If you want to reveal, talk to Admin Chiv.
3. The chapter’s killer and victim will be decided by three factors.
At the start of the chapter, an RNG will be held to randomly decide a victim and killer.
If a killer application is received, it will be discussed by the Admins and either accepted or rejected.
It depends on which option the Admins find juicier! Upupu!
4. There will be a Chapter Opening thread every chapter, where every student must post once before they can begin Free Time Events. You can post in here more than once, but please wait a few posts before doing so! Don’t hog the thread!
5. Special Group Event threads will be held sporadically (and also to announce the motive!). These are not mandatory to post in unless it is announcing a motive! If you want to hold a Special Group Event, discuss it with me and we’ll work something out.
6. Trials will be held via Discord, in a channel on the Monoworld server. They are not mandatory; however, attendance is highly, highly recommended. For information on when trials will be held, please see the [Schedule] thread.
7. Godmodding is forbidden. Your actions cannot directly affect another character in the same post (ex. Mondo swung his fist, connecting with Togami's cheek and sending him reeling into the wall.) In the same vein, your character can't always be dodging/perfect. Sometimes, a punch should land. Be a good sport and remember: Characters can't always be top dog.
8. Important text in your posts should be bold. Bolding important statements or questions can often elicit more quality responses, or perhaps some special information from Monokuma…Oh, and the secret phrase for the application is "You Look Like Linda Evangelista".
