Root picked up a couple sandwiches from the café when he left. It was always good to have some sort of food, especially when he knew she was going to be upset about what she saw. Root quickly ran to the Magic Castle wondering if Mariko could still be asleep. It was a good possibility. He knocked on her door rapidly, as terrible paranoia and worry seeped in. Could she have met the same fate as the boxer?
