402 words for @tags notes: notes A PERFECTLY CONSTRUCTED ALIBI [attr=class,mbox2]Ren was so nervous… Orica and Dorothy and there were only a few more that were gonna get in… ah well, Kaizo was probably gonna get in and maybe he’d be the last. That was okay, he’d figure things out if he didn’t get in. Then he set up the three horsemen with the fourth cheering for them on the outside. After all, Ren didn’t think that Orica would say no after what he told her, but the announcements started right after… and a person jumped on his back, but he ignored it, not because he wanted to be mean but because he was so excited and he’d apologize to the person later… even though he didn’t even see their face. Ren was literally shaking with excitement and then suddenly –
“Doctors help people, but will you overdose on this contestant’s sweetness? It’s Ren Umeki, our Aspiring Ultimate Doctor!”
Sweetness? Aw, that was – Wait a second. That was his name. He was Ren Umeki. Ren’s face brightened completely and he ran onto the stage, tripping over his own feet landing smack on his face causing the audience to gasp. However, Ren jumped up and laughed. ”Hi guys! I’m so excited I forgot to tie my shoe!” Ren pointed to his shoes that were tied and then he looked down and noticed it. ”Oh I guess not. I’m okay though!” Ren quickly ran to the center of the stage. ”Ren Umeki is me! I’m gonna be so cool and nice and oh I hope I have fun! If you’re watching me, Gray, wish me luck~! Oh~! I’m from Little Berlin and I’m a doctor!” Ren waved to the audience and literally everything else while he ran in. So cool…
Oh my god… How could I be so lucky? This is so cool… Instantly Ren was so excited, running around the foyer and knocking on the walls before running to the main area where the others were waiting. People went around and introduced themselves and when it was Ren’s turn, he hopped up on the magazine table and declared to everyone. ”I’m Ren Umeki! Hi! I hope to be friends with everyone!” I’m the Doctor from Galli- I mean Little Berlin!” Ren, you’re so funny. ”If you ever get hurt come to me!” Ren literally jumped down from the table and took a seat again to listen to the other introductions.
Wait... Where was Kaizo...?

It was nerve-wracking being back here on your own as one after another, spots seemed to be filling up at a fast pace. The first one was announced, and then another and another until finally, the backstage waiting room had ten fewer people in it. Somewhere back home she should just hear her father seething already. "Come on Nana for God's sake, how could you not even be in the top ten?" Not a totally unfair question to ask and you had to wonder how many of the others who had yet to hear their names called were thinking the exact same thing. "How many people were going to get in ahead of me? Why did that person get in and I haven't? Am I even going to get in at a-"
“She’s pulled at her violin strings, but can this girl pull at the audience’s heartstrings? It’s Nana Shimedzu, our Aspiring Ultimate Violinist!”
Oh, there it is. Lucky number eleven apparently. Nana was caught off guard momentarily at the sound of hearing her voice called but it doesn’t take long for a smile to creep out from behind her stoic mask and with a brief nod to those who remained in the room, Nana walked out on stage. Trying to scan the crowd without making it obvious she was scanning the crowd, the sight of a certain blue head brings another smile and a curt nod of acknowledgement as the blonde musician makes her way to the center of the stage, head bowed and her violin poised as if she could start playing at any moment. Which, not totally out of the realm of possibility.
"My name is Nana Shimedzu, although some of you who've seen me perform may prefer to call me the Queen of strings. Either way, it's very nice to meet you."
And with another polite, curt bow that was more reflex from the sheer number of times she had done that very thing after a recital and a smile and keeping in mind that that unnamed staffer said not to showboat, Nana continued along the stage and just like the others before she entered the manor like so many of the others who had been announced before her had. It was official; they couldn't take it away from her now and Nana subtly pinched the fat on her wrist to make sure she hadn't passed out backstage or something and this was all just a surreal dream. Finally deciding that no, this was indeed reality once everyone had finally gathered inside the manor and some of the others started to introduce themselves to the other accepted applicants, Nana figured "meh, what will it hurt" and introduced herself as well.
"So. I suppose this officially means we're competitors, hmm?" Way to point out the obvious there, Nana. God, she wanted to fiddle with her strings so badly and she was making a real effort to keep her violin at her side. Instead, Nana offered the same polite smile and showmanship-style bow she had offered to the viewing audience out there, making sure to keep a tight grip on her violin as to not sully it by letting it touch the floor. "Well, it's nice to make your acquaintances anyhow. I'm Nana Shimedzu."
Yeah, that seemed pretty nice and friendly. Nailed it.

Well! Today was the big day! The day that Apollo had been waiting for his entire life had finally come, at last! Apollo had always held faith, optimism, and high hopes that he would actually manage to land a spot on the upcoming reality competition show, So You Call Yourself An Ultimate?. And now that he had finally gotten his wish, his levels of excitement and exuberance were practically off the charts. Today was the day!
'Alright! Time to show everyone what I'm really made of! Oh, all my friends and family back home will be so proud!' He thought as he waited for the producer to call him out onto the stage, where he could finally grace the loving audience of his dreams. There were quite a lot of other contestants who had also managed to get onto the show as well. And he just couldn't wait to get to know them all! Each and every single one of them!
And so, there it was! After hearing his name called, Apollo immediately walked out onto the stage, waving happily at the audience as he faced them for the first time, and smiling brighter than he had ever smiled in his entire life. "Hello! Hello, my wonderful friends! Yes, it's me! Apollo Sinclair! The Ultimate Talk Show Host from beautiful Little Venice, here to brighten your day, one smile at a time! I promise you all that hope will shine on! Not just within me, but with all of my fellow contestants as well! Stay hopeful, my friends!"
Yes, indeed, Apollo had always had hope for everything. For his talent, for his career, and for his life, in general. And it was that hope, along with the love and support of his friends, family, and loved ones, that carried Apollo throughout his entire career up until now. He had finally made it to the big leagues! And he had never felt so grateful!
With that said, Apollo gave one last smile and wave before heading for the entrance to the manor. After entering the place, Apollo smiled once more as he looked around at his fellow contestants. "Hello! It's an absolute pleasure to meet you all! My name is Apollo Sinclair, and I am the Ultimate Talk Show Host, hailing from Little Venice!" He said, smiling. "I truly hope that we can all get along perfectly, and I very much look forward to getting to know you all!"

| Life doesn't discriminate Between the sinners and the saints It takes and it takes and it takes And we keep living anyway We rise and we fall and we break And we make our mistakes And if there's a reason I'm still alive
|
[attr="class","box2"] It was unthinkable, but surely their names weren’t called out in any particular order? After all, she had to stand there and watch as people like a puppeteer and an internet… personality got the pleasure to walk up first, and while she had nothing against them personally, didn’t shows usually bring out their best right at the beginning to drum up the crowd? By that logic, that singer should have rightfully been the first. Not because he was better than her, heavens no, but simply because the talent he had chosen to develop would fit this occasion best.
To be forced to wait this long… Caelie didn’t wish to be disrespectful, but her hosts had led her on to believe that a mistake was being made. The line “Did anyone else just get a chill…?” even had her think that it was finally her moment, but then they had to follow it up with a male pronoun. But on that note – could this… this was him, wasn’t it? Gorou Kikuchi, in the flesh and blood. She hadn’t realized that there was a fellow writer here, and watching as the green-haired boy made his way out, Caelie couldn’t help but let a small grin escape.
So, this is how that sly fox had looked like. It looked like her time in this place had just become even more worthwhile.
Immediately afterwards, there was mention of the one and only Sherlock, and with it? Satisfaction. Now this, this had just made everything that much more delightful. Without sparing a glance at those still left behind, Caelie walked towards the stage’s side staircase. Each step up was savored. She basked in the moment. The crowd’s cheers were growing louder, and in Caelie’s mind, it was all for her. Every single one of them.
She appeared to them as she did to those in the previous room – without a slouch, and with a pretty little smile. With her gaze kept straight right until the moment she reached center stage, only then did she turn to face the crowd. It was the first time Caelie had the honor of being received by such a large audience, and it... it was glorious. What she’d do to stand here again as one of the victors…
Placing both hands around the microphone stand, Caelie looked to where cameras seemed the most concentrated and gave them a sweet smile. “I'm happy to see that everyone’s having a lovely time,” she said. “On my part, I’m honored to be standing here. I hope that they'll be greater times ahead, and before I leave, a special thanks to all of my dear readers. You know how much I treasure each one of you.”
Prompt and simple, Caelie finished with that and left for the manor. “Congratulations to all of us,” she said, feeling generous enough to offer others praise. “Thinking about our time together just gets me so excited. Please treat me well, everybody. I'll be in your care.” [attr="class","box3"] [newclass=.box2] width:340px;margin-top: 0px;padding-right:10px;text- align:justify;color:#555;font-size:10.2px;font-family:tahoma;line-height:100%;[/newclass] [newclass=.box3]padding-right:10px;overflow:auto;height:300px;[/newclass] [newclass=.box3::-webkit-scrollbar]width:5px;[/newclass] [newclass=.box3::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb]background:red;[/newclass] [newclass=.box3::-webkit-scrollbar]width:3px;[/newclass] [newclass=.box3::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb]background:black;[/newclass]

| One after another was called out, decreasing the chances of Gorou getting in. Perfect! Just a bit more and he could return to his bed putting this whole ordeal into the past, eating his favorite snacks and living his life with a pen and paper at hand, back into his safe shelter.
Pressed against the cold wall in complete silence, the boy slowly put on his headphones about to shut his mind down from the current event. Willing to close his eyes and lose himself in the stories of darkness and fears as it always seemed to have a calming effect on him. However, the moment of bizarre bliss shattered in an instance. As a single sentence blocked his route home, Gorou Kikuchi was in the cast. "W-what the fuck-...this gotta have to be the bloody joke...damn it all." Screaming inside the boy's eyes widened in clear terror, sweat began to build on his forehead, his heart was about to burst out of his chest and make a run for it. The natural fight or flight situation occurred to him, however, despite the clear signs of rebellion Gorou couldn't just run away or even ruin it. There were chains of reasons that trapped him here in the first place. Letting out a heavy sigh, Gorou grit his teeth and pulled himself up, walking towards the fog of entertainment.
On his way, He put on his headphones giving the audience a clear cold shoulder. About to head to the manor, the message was made painfully clear. As soon as he was about to leave the stressful situation, his feet came to a hold. Nervously checking the audience in a mix of clear distrust and curiosity he gave them an hesitant nod.
"....Gorou Kikuchi, I'll try my best or something..." It was a silent mutter, hardly audible but enough to slim down the brutal 'fuck you' message he gave off minutes ago with that settled, Gorou finally heads to the manor trying to avoid absolutely everything that was all smiles and giggles, or just breathing air in general, listening to his headphones as he leaned against a wall minding his own business.

Post by Valentina Rossi on Jul 19, 2017 3:48:45 GMT -5
[attr=class, mbox] Silence fell over Valentina. Sweat drips could be heard over the other competitors plitter plattering on the floor below. The beating of the hearts of her fellow competitors, all vying for position. The cheers of the audience. All of them for her. It was certainly a breath-taking site to behold. The sun was perfect. The mansion was in perfect condition. The cameras, though musty, gave an odd sort of familiarity with the otherwise unfamiliar situation. Public broadcasting was not a commonality for Valentina. I mean, she had been recorded in the past, but that was a tale for another day. The announcer proceeded towards the podium. Words flooded the microphone. Out into the atmosphere to adoring public. A puppeteer was called first. Followed by a toymaker. Thirdly, an online personality. Another one immediately following was a meteorologist. Four names. Four places. Yet Valentina was still not called. Breathe in. Breathe out. Breathe in. Breathe out. She pressed her finger onto a scanner on her purse. With the access being available, she then inputted a nine digit sequence into the padlock until a familiar click releasing the purse's contents from confinement for the time being. She pinched a piece of the purse right below the zipper and proceeded to open up the contents very slightly. In fact, just enough for her hand to reach in. She pulled a vial marked Calligraphy's Finest in the Mountains of the Appalachians During a Particularly Frosty November 3rd Midafternoon Part Three Hundred and Seventy-One and sprayed a dash on her wrist and inhaled the aroma into her nostrils where it permeated her brain. She then felt an overwhelming sensation of calming and overwhelming craving for mustard. "Note to self:" she thought, breaking the near silence of her head before, "Don't use so much honey mustard for No.372." She thought she fixed that, but apparently it was not enough. Finally, her name was called. Valentina Rossi. Her name echoed throughout the loud speakers and an uproar was heard. She calmed herself. Don't be to overwhelmed. You still have to stay calm. And swallow mustard. A lot of it. She ran out onto the stage, seemingly forgetting herself three milliseconds ago, or outright purposefully ignoring herself until she reached the microphone. "Hello! My name is Valentina Rossi. I love that you all came out today! You all are truly the bee's knees over heels! I hope to do you proud while I'm in the manor! See you later Mr. Mittens and the AlleyKittens!" She waved into the camera enthusiastically and without stopping until remembering that she still had to enter the house. She ran, almost right into the doors, with a certain umph that really cannot be characterized any better. Once inside, she patiently waited her turn to introduce herself. Once she felt that she could but in, she yelled "Hi! I'm Valentina! I'm so glad we could meet!" Her eye began to stream one tear, which she quickly wiped away. "Please forgive me! I'm so happy, I could hug someone. Or three! In fact," she grinned somewhat mischievously, "Group Hug!" She quickly jumped towards the three closest people in an attempt to wrap her arms around them and hold them tightly together for the hug, which so happened to be Orica, Nana and Gorou.
