The Magic Castle. The seat of their gilded cage. Sometimes it felt like it really was a home away from home. Other times he wanted to slam himself against the bars to see if he couldn't squeeze past them.
The evidence he had found at the Cafe certainly wasn't conclusive of...well anything really. Still it could mean something when combined with others evidence so hopefully the investigation there wasn't a complete waste of time.
The Trickster considered his partner. Adrianna had gotten a little too excited by those dead bodies. Willow still didn't quite suspect the flower maiden but it was a bit concerning. Getting aroused by dead bodies was the kind of stuff that the people behind Monokuma were probably into. Still Willow wasn't one to judge. There were plenty of necrophiliacs that didn't go around killing people. Besides Willow wasn't exactly kink free, he got the whole being into stuff that society found fucked up and immoral thing. Long as she didn't start killing people, it didn't matter to him how she got off.
She was also his friend.
The two entered Tamashi's room. With the door closed, Willow had some things to tell Adrianna.
"First things first Adrianna, you really need to be careful around the others. I understand you and won't judge you. Corpses aren't my thing but you can't exactly control what your into. The others will not understand., I know you get that so be careful to keep your emotions under control as much as possible when you are around them. They will definitely scapegoat you if they find out. Some may even want to kill you because of it. I don't want that to happen." Willow said, looking Adrianna in the eyes to show how important it was.
"Secondly I have something I have to tell you. If somebody investigates my room, and they probably are going to because I am the Ultimate Trickster, it will probably come up in trial. " Willow said, pausing to organize his thoughts.
"Last night I was writing in my notebook with the red pen in my room. I often write in it. Information concerning what I did that day and who I talked to, what insights I have had, potential tricks, etc. Partially it is to help my chances of survival by reflecting on this situation in writing, partially it is to ease boredom. " He explained.
"However that night due to a combination of poor material and staying up too late, I fell asleep. My pen must have exploded from my body heat, because when I woke up I was covered in red ink. I couldn't just leave things the way they were, if a murder were to occur, as of course it did, I would look like a suspect. Even if a murder didn't happen I needed to dispose of my sheets and old clothing. I immediately disposed of them in the ? ? ?room. An investigation of both rooms without more relevant facts would indicate that I am the killer. I swear to you Adrianna that that is not the case." Willow said, again looking Adrianna directly in the eyes, hopefully demonstrating that he was telling the truth.
"Whether you believe me or not this room must be investigated. Happy hunting to you Ms.Kravenski. Let's pray that this will take us one step closer to catching our killer." Willow said with a faint smile.
He turned and proceeded to thoroughly investigate the Analyzer's room. There must be something in here that would give the trickster an insight into who the killer could possibly be, or at least a way to catch them.
