DAISUKE IWASAKI HAS BEEN FOUND GUILTY. (GIF)
PROSKATER: Wallenda Edition
Daisuke's heart gravitated into his throat as the bear's cacophonous laughing echoed through the trial room. His classmates only gave him sad, angry, disgusted looks...and soon, they were replaced by an infinite blackness and the sensation of an incredibly strong wind. Daisuke had been sucked into one of the eighteen vents above each participant's stand, and the trial room was also pitched into darkness.
And then, two things occurred simultaneously. The Skater found himself surrounded by beautiful blue sky from every angle. And the walls of the trial room slowly flickered to life, broadcasting the killer's face from a few feet away. He hadn't noticed the camera hovering silently a few feet away in midair, rather, he was noticing what held him from falling...or moving at all. His feet were clamped painfully tight to a plain wooden skateboard, which rested on a wide wooden plank that reached into the far distance. And without further adieu, a strong wind from behind pushed Daisuke forward, the board rolling rapidly down the plank.
This went on for what felt like an eternity, and to Daisuke's horror...the plank was getting thinner as he progressed. And when it eventually got thinner than the board, he yelped as he nearly toppled into infinity below, just barely regaining his balance. No. The SHSL Skater wouldn't let this kill him. So he charged on, the wind pushing him faster and faster as he balanced the board perfectly. And when it couldn't get worse...well, what the hell. It was Monoworld, things always seemed to get worse. The plank ended, leaving only a thin, yet sturdy metal cable that required ultimate precision to survive. But about a mile away, he could just barely make out another incredibly wide platform. Perhaps that was the end? The bear had wished him good luck, so...there had to be a chance! There was no giving up at this point, even as a horrible grating noise filled his ears.
He made it about halfway when the truth become horribly, inevitably apparent.
The grating noise had been the cable...cutting his board. It was becoming harder and harder to fight gravity as the board destabilized, and he almost fell many more times.
Suddenly, the board split in half and Daisuke found the weight of the world bodyslamming him as gravity took effect. But he didn't fall to Earth immediately. The sudden force of his fall sent the Skater falling onto the wire, one leg on each side. Before he could even scream in pain, the metal cut him cleanly in half, blood spraying wildly and in stark contrast to the vivid sky. His bisected body tumbled through the air, and eventually, disappeared into the horizon.
The screens on the walls turned off, and the lights returned.
“Upupu, what a good episode today! Congratulations everyone, Daisuke Iwasaki has been executed!”
