[/a]. It's everything but the hat, but I couldn't find one without the hat, so I used that. Just so y'all have a visual ---------- "Aaaaaaaand we're rolling."Who of all people had the school tasked with filming their annual little holiday bash to send to the parents? Naturally they had decided to pick on Mariko Nakazawa, the super high school level film director. Some things were just meant to be, you know. A green haired girl with a small bulky camera she had borrowed from the AV department stood in a gymnasium that had been decorated by a few of her fellow students for their annual after winter testing holiday bonanza, feeling pretty self conscious about herself as for a chance she was not dressed in her favorite purple hooded sweatshirt which made her feel safe and secure, but instead a short sexy red dress and stockings, an outfit that seemed like it should be more December holiday than February but she had promised her sisters who had made and sent it to her she'd wear it at least once, and this was proof. Turning the camera in a way that her face was seen, Mariko gave an awkward little wave with her free hand in greeting to the people who would see this later. "Hi Mom. Nari, Nori. I didn't get to send you a message earlier things get pretty busy around here. But the school tasked me with filming our annual shout outs to home, let you all know we're all alive and well and learning."Which she had to admit make sense even if she didn't like how they had just thrust the responsibility on to her at the last minute. You'd think such a prestigious school would have been more on top of things then they were, but you'd be surprised. Shifting the camera again in her hands so the room was on screen instead of her face (a director should be behind the camera, not in front of it. That was the saying in the industry she was a part of) instead doing a slow wide turn to show off the full decorated room and the students who were milling around "So. This is your little glimpse into the life of the ultimates of Hope's Peak."Fancy. Good job Mariko, way to state the obvious. The green haired girl paused, not sure where to go first as the camera's view just swept from side to side, from Nana Okabe to the irishwoman Saoirse Moran to the lawyer Joaquin Johnson, each of them doing whatever it was they did here to relax without knowing yet they were on camera doing it [/ul]

[googlefont="Berkshire Swash"] Science is the Poetry of Reality Words: 516 | Tag: @next It was a fairly normal day for Alexander Root, though apparently it was a ‘holiday’ sort of deal for everyone else. Root didn’t keep track of everything that was going on, because his work was just that important. However, he and Mariko had been getting closer, and that was always a plus. He seemed to be having a better time picking up momentum with his theories when he was happier. He’d been invited to the after winter testing thing, and while Root wasn’t originally going to go, he knew that Mariko would be there, and possibly some of the others who he didn’t mind being around. And anyways, his friend Daniel, said it would be fun and could help rest his conscious mind while he worked subconsciously on his issue. Like going to sleep and waking up knowing the answer. Of course, that wasn’t exactly what his friend had said, as Root added a lot of it in there, but in the end, all that mattered was that he was here.
Not without his notebook, as always. It wasn’t like just because he was going to go here, didn’t mean he wouldn’t work on anything. Root found a spot in the corner of the gym and began to scribble in his notebook, occasionally glancing up to see if he could see anyone who he didn’t mind being around. Specifically, Mariko, but there were always others he didn’t mind hanging out with.
He hadn’t noticed her at first, when she first walked in as he was writing down a theorem that could possibly lead to the solution to time travel. However, when he glanced up, he saw her green hair and smiled. And then he noticed her outfit and he stared, his mouth hanging open. Was… was she trying to kill him? First she lost the bet and wore that maid outfit with that whole Taro fiasco. Then here she was in a beautiful, sexy, short red dress and stockings to match. Root simply stared for several moments, not moving from his corner as he watched her walk around with a camera. She must have been filming the party. He needed to act cool. Right. How was he supposed to do that?
Ah. He could almost hear Daniel whispering in his ear what to do, though he really hoped that it was a smart idea and not something dumb. He was incredibly intelligent, except when it came to relationships. Root stopped by a table with drinks, specifically a sort of punch and picked up two glasses and walked up to Mariko, trying to hide his appreciation for such an outfit, though he couldn’t stop himself from staring at her. “Hey Mariko!” Oh god, that was stupid wasn’t it? She was taping this and now he’d be on film sounding so stupid. “I- uh, though you might be thirsty.” Root indicated the cup of punch, when he realized she was holding a camera, why would she be drinking something that could damage the camera? Damn it. Stop being so stupid, Alex. ”Anyways, I, uh, see you’re filming this. Don’t want to get in your way…”

Willow arrived fashionably late, as was often the case with the trickster. This time he had more of a reason then most others. He had gotten a gift package from someone special back home. Some booze, a letter, and the perfect thing to wear to a Christmas party.
It was always odd crossdressing in front of people that he knew for the first time. It was one thing to do it in front of absolute strangers. Quite another to dress up for a party attended by his classmates. So he had to drink a bit for courage. Then he slipped into the red dress and stockings and carefully applied the make-up that she had provided him with.
Then he walked over to the party. Upon entering he saw quite the unexpected sight, Miss Nakazawa dressed in an almost identical outfit. He began to laugh.
"What a faux pas. What were the chances of both of us wearing the exact same thing Ms.Nakazawa? Regardless you look absolutely lovely. I am sure all the boys here are quite impressed. I know I am. " Willow said and kissed Mariko on both cheeks. He pivoted and turned towards Root.
"Hello Root. I think the two of us need an opinon on this. Who wears this better? Myself or Ms.Nakazawa?" Willow said with a smirk. This was going to be a lot of fun.

Ignia was chilling on a chair when she saw Mariko walk in in a Santa-type of dress. The Arsonist herself thought of putting on a similar outfit, but decided against it, because she was already wearing red and white.
She took a sip of some orange juice and watched the happenings, when suddenly Root said that Mariko was filming all of this. Her first reaction having been an internal "Oh, shit!", she quickly relaxed. The point of the video was probably to see some of the students of Hope's Peak just generally being, well, students. If a teacher was doing this, then they would probably have forced the students to do something either pertaining to their talents (that Daniel was pretty good off, considering he can hardly present his talent in front of a camera) or they would have choreographed a dance or something.
After that, Willow came in, wearing the exact same thing Mariko does. She couldn't help but comment. "What the hell? Ya feelin' fabulous today, Willow?" She had other thoughts pertaining his appearance, and 'fabulous' was the nicest she could put it at.
Ignia knew she wasn't asked, but she simply had to answer Willow's question as well. "I think Mariko's wearin' it better. It's definitely the green hair, ya know? Contrast of colors 'n' all that stuff."
With that, she leant back on her chair and took another sip.

[googlefont="Berkshire Swash"] Science is the Poetry of Reality Words: 340 | Tag: @next Root was standing there, minding his own business, attempting to not stare at the red dress clad Mariko Nakazawa, thinking that nothing could take his eyes off of her, when Willow walked up. Wearing the same thing. Root turned to stare at Willow for a moment before looking between the pair. He didn’t expect this… at all. Willow was a good guy, but… well, Root was all for offending people, yet this was on a whole new level. He knew what his answer would be when Willow asked his question, but at the same time he wasn’t quite sure how to phrase it without saying something stupid that would either embarrass himself in front of Mariko or insult Mariko. Luckily Ignia walked up and made a comment which freed Root’s tongue. She gave a perfectly scientific answer that he could totally roll with.
“Ignia brings up an excellent point. Complimentary colors are more pleasing to the eye when place next to each other. This is because colors on the opposite side of a color wheel correspond to different cones in one’s eyes. When the colors are too similar, the combination becomes boring, and can begin to hurt one’s eyes because only one cone has to focus in on that color. It would be like only lifted a weight with one set of muscles. Your muscles become exhausted faster. However, complimentary colors force different cones to activate and therefore become more pleasing to our eyes than any other combination. A fun fact, if you stare at say something that is blue, then look to something white, you’ll see an afterimage of the color orange, because our eyes are designed to want to see the complimentary color, to give a better support. Instead of using one leg, you use two legs to better stabilize oneself.”
Root took a breath, having not taken one during that whole speech before he finally added his conclusion. “So, to answer your question Willow, while you might look dashing, Mariko does please the eyes more than you.”

Ignia grinned when Root rolled out his speech in just a single breath. For some reason, she found it humorous, especially with someone serious like Root.
The Scientist could have made his job far easier if he said 'You're a guy, Willow and Mariko's a girl, so of course she'd look better in a dress.', but that tirade worked just as well, and showcased his massive intelligence too.
"He's got a point, ya know?", Ignia said. "If I waltzed in with that same dress as well, Mariko would still be the best lookin' in that costume. Although I am fond of my red 'n' white combination."
Ignia then looked at Mariko.
"If you're filmin' us, who's gonna see the vid? I mean, ya don't have to answer if ya don't want to, but I'm kinda curious."

Taro hated Hope's Peak with a passion as of late. As of late being when they decided to throw him out of a biplane with a faulty chute.
"GGGGGGGGGGGGGGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
He crashed landed straight through the roof. His parachute snagged on the roof in such a way that Taro ended up being strangled in mid-air, dangling above Root, Mariko and Willow. He slowly became more and more blue by the second. That was, until, the chute ripped, freeing Taro and landing him right in the middle of the three. With his back towards the floor and his face towards the sky, the only reasonable thing was to ask one simple question.
"What are you shooting Mariko?" It's not like that the question was completely unreasonable. This is the fifth time he's been in a school-related accident and survived. And only one of them was unintentional!
He sat up slowly as to figure out if he broke his neck and generally keep him from passing out.

[/font] Well, good start, she guessed and hey, at least nobody was naked this time Willow. Shifting the camera to one arm so she could the cup from Alex after it had been so graciously offered without making too much eye contact because there was no way in hell she would have worn this so her sisters would have stopped nagging if she had thought there was any chance that he would have been there in the first place. Between this and the...incident that would go unnamed he was probably starting to form the worst opinions of her now, God why was he so cruel. She'd have to remember to question Emiko about that later. Anyway as Ignia turned her attention to the director as well and asked what it was exactly she was up to, Mariko started to speak only to be cut off as a loud crash echoed through the school as if someone had driven a car straight through one of the walls like a genius "Huh?" That didn't sound good at all. Looking up at the sound of...whatever the hell that just was, Mariko looked up to see a pair of wildly flailing legs and sighed mentally before taking three steps back. Taro Yamada had the worst luck of anyone she had ever seen, something she would have had more pity for if he wasn't a complete and total jerk to go along with it and just as she had seen coming the survivor finally fell to the flow with a hard crash as his face slowly started to return to it's usual color as air started to fill the young man's lungs. You would think after awhile he'd take the hint and lock himself in his room where this kind of thing had a lesser chance of happening. "What are you shooting Mariko?" The million dollar question apparently since this made the second or third person who had asked. The green haired girl shrugged with the arm that wasn't holding the camera steady (That had for the record been focused on Taro's crash landing and his reentry to the land of the living) "School asked me to film it for all the people back home. You know, let em all know we're all alive and not chained to a desk all day or whatever."And by asked, she meant that they had thrust a camera at her and said here do it, and she was because she was afraid to go against them. Some things never change [/ul]

"Well, I don't mean to be rude here, but I do wish that you would turn over part of that footage, particularly the part where I crashed through the ceiling, to some ethical review board." He finally managed to stand up straight with his glasses split into two separate parts in order to give the appearance of an eye-patch. Taro wouldn't have complained too much, except that the only half that was on his face was on the opposite eye of the scar.
"Or, you know, send it to the police. Or if there is another Ultimate Survivor-type role, handing the film over to them. Make them regret, you know, applying to the school." He smirked at his own joke.
"I would love to be a part of the documentary of all the students, but I don't think comatosed people can watch footage." His smile quickly went away from his face. He had a blank expression for a few seconds before coming back. "I might be able to help you with the boom mic. Or generally do anything else than bump into researchers for more 'unfortunate, yet necessary' testings they so love to shove down my throat. I don't know who those jackasses are convincing. Me, or themselves."
He checked his watch to make sure it was still working. Fortunately, it was. Unfortunately, his fingers were dislocated. Disgustingly dislocated. He pocketed it for now until Mikan came back from some family trip.

A grin crossed Willow's face. People seemed a bit awkward. He could definitely use this.
"Fabolous? I prefer marvelous myself. Fabolous is a bit too-" Willow stopped and tapped his nose, before briefly succumbing to a fit of giggling.
"I am sorry Root dear but that was entirely too long to say something simple. You prefer our lovely Mariko. I do admit she does look very nice. Red isn't exactly my color either. And uh...really Root dashing? A man is hardly going for dashing when he shows up wearing a dress." Willow said, while leaning close to the scientist.
"As for our lovely director, I was wondering if I could use this time to ask some of my fellow students some questions that inquring minds might want to know? After all our loved ones should have a good sense of what's happening over here should they not? Don't worry, I won't ask any question I wouldn't answer myself." Willow said, turning to face Mariko.
Willow made a point to ignore the Survivor. Something about him was...off.
