Taro woke up with a splitting headache.
Nice shot Ken. His bullet certainly gave Taro the freedom to finally die. Once and for all. Junpei is now the Ultimate Survivor.
His knee, although still blasted, was able to withstand his body now without the need for crutches. He got off the ground and watch the carnage unfold as the little Birdie and Root perished.
"Welcome to what appears to be the afterlife. Though Mariko and Mugen might have choice words for you Root, I feel like we are finally free."
Taro smirked. He finally felt.....happiness. Something he always longed for.
