The trial had just ended. And three more people had died.
Monokuma was surprisingly absent...
And it was a dark, quiet night.
Discuss the events that have transpired. Reminisce! This...
...is the end.

Once Ignia was back at the fountain, she sighed. On one hand, she was glad that Taro was finally dead, and that the Despair traitor finally couldn't cause anymore trouble. On the other hand, however, they lost one of their greatest assets in Monoworld: The SHSL Scientist.
Without him, beating the mastermind, whoever it may be, would be difficult. But Ignia didn't lose hope. She still had Willow, who was outed as the Hope traitor and Iocus. And the thought of going back to Cryos kept her going throughout the entire time at Monoworld. He was the reason she didn't kill, and why she didn't die.
Her heart raced when it turned out that she was the reason Mugen died. When she had to decide whether to end this game early and escape with Root, or sacrifice Root and fight against the mastermind.
"Ya know...", Ignia began. "...I'm glad this is the end. Just one last area to explore..."
She turned to Willow and Iocus. "Alright guys, let's do this."

Root and Mariko were never supposed to die. Just like Adrianna and Saoirse weren't supposed to die. The Mastermind had held all the cards in his hand from the very beginning. Willow had been so confident at first. That he could keep everyone safe and get everyone out. But he couldn't. Apparently something devastating had happened to the world that he couldn't remember and all this was being aired to everyone.
The trickster had thought it would be simple. Get in. Protect who you can. Find a way out. Foil Ultimate Despair. Yet here he was...alone among corpses. A crow feeding on carrion. The only person he had protected was himself.
He had been overly cautious with all of his moves. Trying to avoid confirming for anyone that he was working with the Future Foundation. In the end he had accomplished nothing except to keep the innocent protected. Willow's moves were all reactionary.
Willow thought of all the things he had done. His last words to Mariko. His confession to Alexia. His talk with Root in the theatre. Talking with Adrianna in the Cafe. Trying to reassure Saoirse. None of it had been right. None of it had been enough. Even further back now. A talk in the office. One last kiss. A promise in the rain. Further and further. A game of hide and seek. Playing his first trick. Stepping out of the house. Taking his first breath. Being born.
It all seemed a horrible mistake. A burden he placed on others just by being alive. Did he really even make the right choices at trial? Could he have saved Ken? Could he have saved anyone?
But that was the wrong perspective. Life was a set of choices and he made his with the right intentions. There was too much still at stake. Four innocent lives and his own to save. He owed it to Root, Mariko, Ken Adrianna and Saoirse as well as all the others who died to get out. Willow had to carry their memories with him, otherwise no one else would.
He still had a goal, a dream. A hope that would persist. Even in spite of all the horror and despair that had come before hand. He had promised far too many people to let them down now.
"This is the end. Both sides must make their final moves." Willow said softly.
"We'll do this together. I won't let you down anymore." Willow spoke again. He had one last trick to use. Even with the Mastermind having every advantage he couldn't just allow things to proceed without trying it.

I was sadden by the events that transpired in the trial. I was not able to keep the small tree...
The little tree was so intriguing. It was like a regular sized tree but not regular sized. It was a bizarre looking thing. An oddity among the creatures in our world. It's very existence created the deepest of questions. How did you get so small little tree? Did you not get enough nutrients? Are you a dwarf among your fellow vegi-friends? Would you make tiny fruit? Would you have given me some of those fancy tiny bananas? Could I grow my own little tree just like you?
I would never get those answers. The tiny tree was gone.
I looked at my peers. They were shell shocked as well. I know how they feel better than anybody. They didn't get to keep their tiny trees either.
The mastermind would pay. After hearing my friends I resonated with their words.
"We are going to get the son of a bitch and get the answers to all of the questions, even if it kills us."
