[attr="class","burst"] [attr="class","whitenight"] ❝ Upon hearing Monokuma's words, Shiro gave but a simple shake of her head. She hadn't been referring to herself when she suggested that Monokuma be polite, and thus, she wagged her finger slightly as she jotted down notes with her other hand. She opened her mouth to voice her rebuttal, but whatever words she'd been planning to say had quickly gotten drowned out by all the other ongoing noise that filled the room. Whether it be panic, or the childish voice of Monokuma, she could barely hear her own thoughts amidst what could only be called havoc. As if her heart was in tune with this mess, beats felt like sharp knives embedding themselves into her chest. Even so... a breath was emitted as her attention once more zeroed in on her notebook, frantically scribbling things down. She had not a moment to spare if this was to be the reality of the situation. For a moment, she paused to allow her gaze to pan across the room. It was here, her senses seemingly completely drowned out, that she spotted AI warning them about the "corpse" of Monokuma. With fast steps, she quickly approached the corpse but before she could even get there, she felt herself frozen, glued to the ground. What... what on earth? As if an unspeakable force had been tugging her backwards, she remained perfectly frozen, standing in place. She couldn't even move her hand up as to take notes, because it seemed that her attention had zoned in on something else. As if a new emotion had been stirred up within her, she simply closed her eyes and hung her head, bracing herself for the inevitable destruction of AI. And when her eyes fluttered open once more, her senses finally seemed to snap awake. There was so much to keep track of. But the best she could, she studied everybody's movements, their expressions, and their reactions to what Monokuma had to offer. Shaking her head a little, she swiftly approached the devices after awhile, and grabbed hers, pocketing it. She then began to shuffle through the rest of the phones, searching for AI's, and it was here that she spotted Nero taking it. Stalking over to him, she put a hand on her chin and lightly rubbed it, noting how he didn't seem to check it. "Excuse me, sir. Could I see that phone for a moment? I assure you I won't do anything to it, my intentions are only to view what is on there. You can even check too, if you'd like, but this is currently of utmost importance."
With a somewhat courteous nod, she began placing the pieces together in her head. This was a puzzle that she could solve in seconds, as truthfully, the outcome was the obvious. AI likely adapted into a lesser, cruel being courtesy of Monokuma, and now she only had to confirm her suspicions. Thus, she simply waited for Nero's response. attention completely zoned in on obtaining AI's phone. | [attr="class","white"] [attr="class","night"] [attr="class","burstmini"]@someone1 [attr="class","burstmini"]@someone2 [attr="class","burstmini"]000 words [attr="class","burstmini"]OOC TEXT - Mizo |

Post by Brunhild Kurth on Jul 25, 2017 13:41:03 GMT -5
How could this happen? Why is it happening now? Why me? Brunhild was too deep in her thoughts about this situation that she did not hear or saw most of the conversation that was happening near her. That was until Valentina started doing some weird on a first glance things. At first, Brunhild did not understand what she was doing, but it was clear that she wasn't serious about her intentions. However, shortly after she understood what Valentina was trying to do. How pointless... how desperate... and yet... it was at least some effort to try to convince Monokuma to not to start the Killing Game. Should she join in on this act or not? No, that's not something to be worrying over. There was no way that Monokuma would let us go that easily.
She quickly glanced around the room. She noticed phones scattered across the room. Ah, Brunhild finally remembered what Monokuma did to Ai. Those were ElectroIDs. She slowly walked up and searched for her ElectroID. Funnily enough, Brunhild was only checking only four ElectroIDs near her for almost three minutes. And finally, in two more minutes, she finally found hers. Compared to others, it was for some reason covered in some sort of marks, resembling somebody with heels stepped on it, other than that it was perfectly fine.
There was no way I would die here. There is no way I am dying here. I have to find some information about the position that I am in. Brunhild opened her ElecroID and swiftly went through the rules. She noticed that one specific rule mentioned a traitor. Ignoring everyone Brunhild came closer to the Monokuma and with a strange hostile smile asked him: "This eighth rule talks about the traitor. Do we really have a traitor among us? And about the rule thirteen what kind of special prize do we get?" as she asked him those questions Brunhild had a very determined, yet scared look on her face.

The whole time this was taking place, Sanura had been shaking in her bedroom, not wanting to go out. Though she knew she had go to outside at one point, she hesitated heavily. However, upon hearing some strange noises coming from downstairs, she decided it might be for the better to check it out.
While walking down the stairs she could not shake the terrible feeling that was haunting over her every step she took. It felt like lead had replaced the things that were supposed to be her feet, dragging them along the way. After a while, she finally arrived at the scene where, so far, everyone had been gathering.
"N-no, this can't be happening..." She was still visibly shaking, especiall when she saw the black and white bear in person, although he was quite... different, to say the least. "We mustn't lose o-our composure everyone, surely this can't be true..." Oh how she wanted to believe her own words, which she couldn't. how could anyone remain calm, besides Orica I guess, in a situation like this?

► Yuichiro Yuuki N/a 523 This thread moved quick when I looked away. Gomen! | "Ai!" He gasped at the display of her image shattering like glass. They had just met, but... For a moment, he felt time stop. Yuichi was inclined to believe that the AI was at least close to being human from her introduction, which made this... The first casualty. Already. This was real, god dammit!
A tiny streak of bright blood flowed from his lip and down his chin before he wiped it with his sleeve. Biting his lip was the only thing the singer could do from screaming. In terror, anger, or panic; probably a melting pot of all three. This was just like the old horror stories that would keep many of them up at night when they were kids. It was a crippling reality that he had to come to terms with. The pile of cellphones hit the ground, and the blonde boy grabbed the one with his name on it. In the corner of his eye, he saw Nero pick up the phone that may have been the last bastion of Ai's soul. That was some hope at least.
Reading the rules only dragged him down, though. Tuning out the sound of Valentina hopefully trying to save her own skin by appealing to the monochromatic abomination, he muttered the rules out loud to himself. His skin was a tone paler than normal. "This is... sick. There's no other way to describe it. This is just evil." He believed in the times before the tragedy. Before killing games. Before despair. They were meant to be moving forward from those atrocities, not right back into the the abyss.
He squeezed the electro ID. Every time that infernal bear spoke, it felt like a ice pick drilling into his brain. The only thing to calm him enough to think rationally was... That girl. Caelie. Though her tugging the back of his shirt made the boy jump, he turned, his panicked eyes meeting her solemn ones. And like that, reality returned. This wasn't a vacuum. There were other people here. They were all suffering. He made it one of his goals to inspire hope in people, so letting that crumble then would be the worst action he could take. He whispered to the black haired girl. "Are you a--" He bit his tongue for nearly asking something so stupid. "We're going to get through this.. I don't know how, but we have to."
Looking back at the animatronic horror, he crossed his arms and closed his eyes. He no longer whispered, he wanted whatever twisted person controlling it to here him. "It's... Easier said than done, but finding the person behind this may free us too, right?" That is how Makoto Naegi and company survived the first Mutual Killing. As well as how Willow, Ignia and Iocus survived Mariko's game, right? "I swear I'll kill you." He whispered, rather uncharacteristically. Though it made him feel a bit squeamish to say, he truly meant it. The person behind this way a monster.
The boy looked back at Caelie. A sigh escaped him. One thing he knew was that he wanted to stick close to her. | |

as long as you remember me, i don't care if everyone else forgets. [attr="class","quicklinks"]♡STAYPOSITIVE♡ [attr="class","quicklinks"]357 words ♡ Lights, Camera, Action! Nox Tenebris on stage, front and center. ♡ | [attr="class","technoscroll"]❝ Nox walked into the dining room behind the first responders, and her eyes showed everything, Absolute unadulterared fear. As a person who heavily advocated against many issues involving Despair, it was impossible to not have heard the sounds and how familiar they were. The lack of windows had bothered her as a first signal of trouble, then the several locked rooms disturbed her even more.
When she walked in fully, she saw how many people were in the room, before quietly stepping to the side to see Monokuma. She froze, looking at everyone then back to the bear over and over. As she did this, she teared up, her hands covering her ears. She couldn't and wouldn't believe what was happening. This is all some dumb joke, and they were gonna be caught on camera any minute... right?
"What the hell is going on, why did I hear a scream? This is a joke, right? A stunt by the producers! There's no way this is real, this is some stupid intro set up for laughs. Well I'm not falling for it!" She tried to nervously laugh it off, her hands pressing on her ears as she shook her head vehemently, looking at everyone in the room.
When she was filled in, and she sat in the back of the group as things quickly unraveled and fell apart, she covered her mouth in mute horror, unable to make her legs move. She shook lightly, not even able to move to get her ElectroID, constantly muttering 'this can't be real'... |

I AM NOT A BAD BEAR even though i do bad things VERY BAD THINGS such horrible things Monokuma chuckled, rubbing the back of his head with a blushing grin.“Believe it or not, buddy. I don’t care! I’m here to spread despair and eat honey...and I’m all outta honey.” With that, a virtual pair of sunglasses faded over his eyes. “Upupu, I love the future!”He began to saunter toward Valentina, paws on his hips.“I hope you aren’t confessing to being a traitor, Ms. Rossi…” And one claw solidified, poking her lightly in the stomach. “...because the rules are preeeeetty specific on that matter. Wouldn’t you just hate losing that nose? ‘Cause I sure wouldn’t! Man, where’s the Ultimate Plastic Surgeon?!” With a satisfied cackle, he spun to face Liam. “Would it be a shame? You know, I--” Interrupting the bear, a distant click signified that the TV had turned on in the Living Room. “Puhuhu, that’s my cue!” And so he disappeared, quickly reappearing in the distant TV. “Ahem!” Oh joy, you could hear him in your headsets.“The Q-and-A portion of our little program has now concluded. We will now commence...the first challenge. Please report to the Backyard!”« tag: @all // notes: welcome to hell! welcome to hell! welcome to-- »
