It had been quite the mood whiplash. Not that long ago everyone had been happy and excited, and now all of a sudden all of that excitement had gone away because someone's toy had shown up. People were still a lot more freaked out by the arrival than she had been but Nana had to admit that things certainly seemed bad. First, he went and shoved...whatever the hologram's name was into a phone and then they had to play a game of some sort only to find out that the winner had to pick two people to get their heads blown off if there was no murder committed in the allotted timeframe, along with the audience.
Everyone caught up? Good.
It all seemed like a bad dream, still. All of it now, if she was to be honest. Have you ever had those dreams when everything seemed to be going great only for there to be a giant curveball thrown at you at the end when you realize no, in fact, this is my worst nightmare? Nana had been finding herself more and more wishing that this was the case and she was back in Little Paris and simply rich, alone and happy. If only we could all have such luxuries. What was she even doing here? By hear of course meaning the second floor’s main hall, not the manor in itself. They were all probably questioning that last part by now, she would imagine. But no, Nana had decided that now was the time to do what it was that Nana did better than anyone else in the world. Idle hands being the devil’s playthings, to keep herself busy (much like the others, who for the most part were doing what they could to keep their mind off things in their own way) Nana was sitting cross-legged against a wall, eyes closed and was deeply engrossed in the sound of her own violin as she played her loyal instrument seemingly just to play.
Everyone copes in their own way, yeah?

Sanura had been in her room for a while after the events of Monokuma entering the manor, AI going all loony and the panic caused by all this. She felt that she had to leave the room at one point, so she did. She planned on going outside to get some fresh air, yet she cuoldn't just walk past this girl that was sitting here against the wall cross-legged. This girl was Nana, right? She had her eyes closed, but at least she was sitting upright, so she couldn't be dead luckily. Unsure how to approach Nana, she lightly tapped Nana on the shoulder.
"G-greetings, is everything alright with you? The events prior to this must have shocked you as well right? Was Nana alright or not? Sanura was genuinely worried since she was just sitting there, not moving.
"If you are in need of any help, we have the councelor who would most likely want to be of aid to you if deemed necessary. Sanura expected the worst, that way, it can only turn out better than she thought it to be. The situation that is.

"G-greetings, is everything alright with you? The events prior to this must have shocked you as well right?"[…] "If you are in need of any help, we have the counselor who would most likely want to be of aid to you if deemed necessary.”
Someone seemed to be nervous. Nana had been engrossed with her own playing to the point that she hadn't even noticed that the sand magician had even been approaching her until she had spoken and even then she had almost gone unnoticed. It was nothing meant to be personal or anything of the sort but you could say that Nana struggled with tunnel vision. Maybe tunnel hearing? Once Nana got really engrossed in something such as, for example playing the violin than it can be tricky to snap her out of it until she's done doing what it was she wants to do.
Sanura got lucky, is basically what I'm saying.
“Hmm? Yes, everything is fine. Why wouldn’t it be?”
…Well, for the folks watching at home let’s count the checklist, shall we? Cast onto a tv show, tv show was hijacked, said hijacker was a bear, bear said the kids had to kill each other or the audience and two of her fellow castmates would be killed. Most people might be just a little bit unnerved by everything that was seemingly happening to them. Of course these people were falling into the old trap of reality tv, hook line and sinker. It was all too perfect, no? After all of these years, the Future Foundation announces a show to admin the new batch of ultimate high school students and some furry from decades ago that everyone seemed to have a fear boner over just happened to show up? What were the possible odds of something like this happening with out the backstage help of the producers. The producers who were now airquote airquote “brutally murdered.”
Everyone needed help in the ratings, especially with sweeps coming up.

Sanura wasn't quite sure how to interact with the violin girl. Nana seemed to be rather calm despite the situation they were put in, and what Nana had said made that even more evident.
"Well... doesn't it shake you even the slightest bit that Monokuma has returned? Albeit in a different way than previously known..." Still sounding a bit nervous, she tried to get her composure back in order. She succeeded somewhat, though Sanura was still uneasy about this whole situation.
Maybe Sanura could get some advice from this girl on how to act calm like Nana is doing right now! "Is there... perhaps some trick you are using to stay calm like you are right now? Or is it something entirely different..." She would do anything to be less anxious like she was right now. Anything, maybe even something like a stress ball.

Right, Monokuma. A lot of the others were quite upset at the arrival of the fat bear, weren't they? Nana still didn't see why truth be told, the bear hadn't really done much yet but issue empty threats and people were peeing themselves all over the place. At least make it to the bathroom, jeez.
"Is there... perhaps some trick you are using to stay calm like you are right now? Or is it something entirely different..."
"A trick? No, no. Nothing like that." Trying to wave away Sanura's worries, Nana sets her violin down in her lap and crosses her arms, sighing. What was the best way to explain herself to someone else, again? "You just have to see it for what this really is. It's nothing more than a marketing ploy."
A...marketing ploy? That was a different viewpoint, huh. Still, Nana was nodding as if she was agreeing with herself (because it wasn't like anyone else would) and continued on.
"Think about it. The school opens up after twenty years, and what shows up but some furry mascot from the old school? What are the odds? It's an obvious ratings ploy."
