Well, maybe the left porch might have something? Okay, let's not lie to ourselves. There is absolutely nothing to be found here. It's almost completely empty in here. I can't really see any reason for the killer to come here for any reason at all. This place is nowhere near the crime scene. Still, it's better to investigate here and find nothing then ignore this place and miss a vital clue. Maybe the others will notice something I won't.
Why would someone target Excrest anyways? There's no more reason to kill her than anyone else here. In fact, I'd say there's even less reason to come after her. Why would the person who shouldn't be here be targeted? Why kill her instead of at least interrogating her? Maybe someone else knew she was here already, and didn't want her to give us any assistance? If I'm right, then this investigation puts us very close to finding out who the mastermind is, or at least one of the traitors.
For now, I should keep my focus on the investigation. We'll need every possible clue we can get our hands on to find this killer.

Why they were here again? Ah, yes a murder of Excrest has taken place inside this manor and they were investigating the left porch for possible evidence. Brunhild couldn't stop thinking about the culprit, it was certainly strange that out of all people she was killed. Porches were definitely different from the rest of the manor by its un-artificiality and perhaps because of its atmosphere. However, left porch stood out from its right counterpart because of the mysterious room connected to it.
Anyway, the investigation was a priority. Brunhild took a deep breath, she was feeling a bit strange ever since the incident happened. The air inside here was filling her with determination. Yes, there was no way that she could let the killer go innocently during the trial. With that thought, Brunhild started investigating the room.

Dorothy followed behind her partners, wordlessly investigating the porch. She knew that if her family would watch this horrible game, they'd be cheering for her, and there was no way she would let them down.
She thoroughly explored the porch and looked around as much as possible. The killer could've been crafty and hid something here. The best evidence was always there where nobody else bothered to check.
Although the Polyglot might not look that way, but she was determined to see this through.

To prevail and get out of this jail
dust in my eyes and a tear in my sail.
Back and forth between the desert and the sea,
Who I was and I will always beLeft porch, right porch, we all arrive at the same despairing destination in the end. But, since you're here perhaps you can answer... What are those off-colored markings on the floor over there?

Hmmm. I can't imagine anyone using the porches in a murder that took place upstairs, but it can't hurt to look. In fact, I think I see something now! Let's take a look at those off-colour markings. Something tells me they're going to be important later on.

Dorothy followed Liam like a lost puppy, but just so she could make sure she didn't miss anything.
That's why she checked out the off-colored markings as well.
