Ahhh, now this. This was nice.
Everyone had their own form of stress relief, and you couldn't deny that things had been quite stressful. The doctor who had not that long ago had been running around cheerfully trying to cut faces off was no dead, executed for the murder of the masked hacker who hadn't even been admitted to the show. Naturally, people were quite down in the dumps about the loss of someone who they had been living in close quarters with. For good reason, nobody was going to deny that. How could they after everything that they had just been through?
Jeez, this isn’t what she wanted to think about. She had come all the way over here to cheer herself, not thinking about dead kids. Closing her eyes with a long drawn out sigh, Nana slunk down further into the water to the point where nothing could be seen above the service of the water but her pretty blonde head.
There were few things that could heal a wounded soul, but a nice hot tub worked wonders.

| ❛might as well make use of these amenities.
Life doesn't discriminate Between the sinners and the saints It takes and it takes and it takes And we keep living anyway We rise and we fall and we break And we make our mistakes And if there's a reason I'm still alive

[attr="class","box2"] Caelie walked out of her room in swimwear, carrying a bottle in her hand and a towel in another. Specifically, the same bottle that made its appearance back in the kitchen. And though her getup might have initially indicated otherwise, there was a scowl across her face and a sense of... lethargy in her step. This wasn't going to be a fun dip in the pool, not at all. Rather, it was partly out of desperation. Good thing she had the hindsight to pack such apparel, huh? And some people scoff at preparedness. Letting out a soft sigh, she played the events of their trial over and over, like a recording on loop. How in the world did she mess up that badly? If anything, she should have been the front-runner when it came to trial solving. The leader. Not some... stupid, idiotic imbecile. Harsh? Perhaps, but with a talent such as hers in mind... It was a huge disgrace, even if... there might be a chance that this could be used to her advantage. Smaller target on her back and all that. She's always had a problem with overthinking, and as of late, they were horribly, awfully incessant, even as she pushed open the door to the spa. Even as she stepped through to spot one blonde head barely poking through the water of the hot tub's surface. "Would you mind sharing the hot tub?" asked Caelie as she made her approach. "Would you mind sharing the hot tub?"
“Hmm?” Things had been so blissful that Nana hadn’t even had the sound of approaching feet at all (was this wise in a setting where a murder had literally just happened? Maybe not but Hot tubs just felt soooooooo good she got swept away in the moment, sue her) and at the sound of the voice she cracks an eye open to see who had spoken and was just a bit taken aback at seeing the murder mystery novelist standing there in a bathing suit. The two of them hadn’t conversed much until they had partnered together for the investigations and the trial, but she hadn’t come off as one who was big on swimming and spas in general. Still, she wasn’t one to be rude.
“Ah, yes of course. Pardon me.” and with that said Nana shifted her position under the water so Caelie could enter, trying to give the writer as much room as she might need to enter the tub and relax while trying to think of something to say to the other girl. What are you supposed to say to someone who you’ve only spoken to in the process of investigating a murder?
"I didn't take you for much of a hot tub person, but I dig the suit. Very chic." Nana gave the dark haired girl a small smile before leaning back against the edge of the hot tub and closing her eyes and sighing contently. Despite everything that they were now dealing with, it was nice to feel like you could just relax and let your troubles drift away if even only for a brief moment. This was nice.
"Isn't this nice? It's been faaaaaaaaaaaaaar too long since I've just soaked."

Setting down her towel and bottle bsides the tub, Caelie returned Nana's smile, muttering a "Thanks," in response as she got in. This blonde was always pleasant to be around with - up till now, at least - which was sadly not too common a thing. Befit of a violinist, Nana felt refined, just, and all in all, someone quite predictable and stable in how they act. All of these things were traits that Caelie appreciated - it made dealing with them that much easier, and the fact that Caelie felt genuine interest in music certainly helped matters too.
"I'm not usually, but we all have to find a way to relax in here somehow," she said. Making use of the moment Nana closed her eyes, Caelie tried to get a better look at what she wore. Because Nana had gotten a good look at hers, it was mostly out of curiosity.
Sinking deeper into the tub herself, she stretched and rested her head back on its edge. "Do you drink, Nana?" she asked, reaching out to unscrew her bottle.
