森羅万象
all things are sacred.
Starting as a slanted walkway up and off the beach, this winding path has torches every ten steps. Oddly enough, despite their frequency, they still leave dark, impenetrable shadows at night...and the flame can’t be extinguished. Another oddity.
The walkway takes about five minutes to pass through. Finally, after your trek...you discover a wide circular platform. It looks as though a giant tree grew in the middle of the ocean, only to be destroyed in its prime, leaving a large, lifeless stump. The floor is ringed with oak lines. But looking off the side--careful, don’t fall!--you’ll realize it’s only a sliver of a tree. It’s about five feet in thickness, and a complex array of sticks and beams underneath travel the next forty feet from the platform to the ocean. It’s then you realize how high up you are…
The Plaza is complete with two long rows of seating. One in front, and a higher one behind it, so everyone can sit there and be seen. In front of them is a small podium, at about bear-level. You may realize how unnerving it is to be comparing things to Monokuma’s height subconsciously, but ignore that for now! It’s an island paradise after all, right? On the other end of the platform is a small hut with a couple chairs, and a ballot box. There’s a pile of paper slips beside it, and an old calligraphy brush, complete with inkwell.
To the side, there are 19 tiki torches burning bright. Try not to think of which ones will be extinguished. ...If you look closely, you’ll realize they match the chandelier’s colors from the Marvelous Manor.
