With her team in tow and being sufficiently motivated, Dorothy first went to the place where it all began before the weather got worse: The Competition Clearing.
She thanked her lucky stars that she didn't have to do the challenge and thus wasn't eligible to be collared. Not like the collar would make her uncomfortable anyway.
With a confident smile, she encouraged her two partners to investigate with her, to see if she could avenge Kris and Rin. Despite how Dorothy acted towards the deaths, she felt that neither deserved to die.

Dorothy simply looked at Nox, said "Probably, we don't have the Monokuma File. If we had that, we could probably determine whether their death was quick and painless or not."
With that, she noticed the strange patterns in the sand. Obviously curious, she decided to investigate them, careful not to ruin the various footprints at the scene.
