Who were they... Wake up, please wake up... This had to be a nightmare... "L-Let go of m-- Let me go! Now! Help, Yui!" He was nowhere. The two people said he would not come. They said it was... His fault... Where were they taking her? No, she had to get away, she had to! What was this place? Little Sydney? No, nonono, she had to run! Run Carol, just run. Just run and don't look back. Find Yui, he can make it bett-- ... Slowly, she opened her eyes. At first, the world was a blur, but her vision soon focused. Her senses soon returning. Sitting up, she took a deep breath and wiped her face, feeling sweat had practically drenched her. What an awful dream. One where she'd returned home after a night out with Ayako, only to be grabbed by a couple men saying they were going to kill her. That was a horror movie scenario! Something so awful it gave her chills. The same chills that... She felt when she recognized something truly awful. "Where... Where a-am I?" She was in an apartment, that was for sure. But none she had ever stepped foot in. It was foreign. It was uniform, unlike hers which was normally littered with clothes, cats and CD's. It was about six degrees warmer than she preferred too. She had also been sleeping fully clothed, which was not something she ever did. Nervously looking around, she started to wonder if that dream was more reality than fiction. No, it couldn't have been! What she felt in the final instant of that dream.. The girl quickly felt the back of her head. Nothing, it was just a normal scalp. No.. Wounds. No holes. Well of course there wasn't! She wouldn't be alive if there was a great big cavity where her cerebellum should have been! Still, she felt extremely uneasy. Waking up in an odd room with no memory how you got there was one horrifying thing entirely about two decades ago, but... Didn't this remind her of a book? Or a documentary? The types written about the Tragedy and it's harrowing Killing Games? Stepping off the bed, she grabbed the closest thing that could even serve as a weapon; a lamp. "D-Don't think I won't hurt you! I just had a dream training me for this, so..." She closed her eyes and tilt her head towards the floor. Who the fuck was she even speaking to? How was "Oh, I had a dream about getting kidnapped" a good enough incentive to get any scary murderers away. At that very moment, she heard the door handle rattle. Her knuckles went white around the lamp stand, and quickly moved behind where the door would open. Alright.. Here we go, Carol Laws! Don't die this time! Her legs were shaking and her blood was ice, but she wasn't going to let anyone take her out! After all, she was one of the lead singers to one of the biggest music groups in the New World Order! Hearts would be broken and hopes would be shattered if she died there! Then, the door opened. She swung the lamp towards the blonde intr-- Blonde!? She couldn't stop the momentum in her strike. It was gonna hit! Then, in nearly a second, he.. Grabbed the lamp, and slowed it to a stop before it made contact. At that moment, she could see his eyes. At that moment, she began to weep. "Oh thank God!" She let the lamp leave her hands so only he carried it, then she wrapped her arms around him. "Yui, dear lord it's you.. I thought you were someone dangerous.. I almost fricking killed you! Are you okay? Did you wake up in this strange place too?" She could feel a.. Trembling. Was it him? Why would he shake? Then again, his eyes did seem rather frenzied. "Ca..." She heard him begin. A long moment of silence fell over the room. "Y-You'll have to try a lot harder than that to kill me. In fact, I probably just saved your life from breaking the vandalism rule.." |
