There was something she needed to talk to him about as he was her best friend here. He considered and treated her like a real person despite the fact that she was an utter failure. She couldn't do anything correctly and somehow... he believed she was still a good 'person', or being or something like that. That's why she was going to correct this - she was going to fix this just like she was supposed to. She couldn't help those here like she was right now. She had spent her time for awhile now learning more about herself... that was why she had been so distant. Ai couldn't help like this. So she was going to go away. Then she could help. That was the only way to fulfill her duty. She'd still have her power - if she disappeared completely Monokuma would have a field day - now she was just going to change. That was her plan.
Appearing on Nero's phone again, she suggested the freezer as few people ever went there. She was silent until they reached that area - assuming Neo is fine with that - and then she finally spoke to him.
"I've... been failing my job. I'm supposed to help all of you and you're all still hurting so... I'm going to fix that. But... Nero... you're my friend right? You won't tell anyone or stop me from doing this right?" Good Laughs, Good Murders, What more could anyone want? Nero had been ecstatic to see Ai on his phone again. Truly, it was a great thing to see a friend come to him with a need for him. When she told him to go to the Freezer, Nero was a little hesitant because of how cold it was, but anything for a friend, right? Finally, after a few minutes of walking with his staff, Nero finally made it to the freezer, where he pulled out the phone and looked at it. A few seconds passed, and Nero saw Ai appear on his phone. Nero's smile soon faded as he listened to the robot's words.
"...What do you mean? I don't understand what you're talking about. But no matter what, I am your friend. If there's something I can do to help you, I'd love to do it!" Nero sounded determined... even though he was shivering in a freezer looking at and talking at his phone. Oh well, semantics. Nero the Determined Baker

Given her plans... she wasn't planning on being Ai anymore. She was going to be much more. "I'm going to revive those who have died. S-So... I'm here to say goodbye to my best friend and - and tell him something I've been keeping to myself because of my job. I..." Ai paused as she figured how to say this.
She frowned and looked over at Nero and smiled, giggling a bit. "Oh you already know." Chickened out. Damn Ai, didn't someone program you to be brave? She could fight Monokuma and keep fighting for everyone here, but she couldn't convey a simple message to her friend here.
She was worried it would just make this harder - that he wouldn't want to let her go ever again. She knew she needed to do this. Nero was her friend, but she couldn't stop saving the others - there were so many she failed and she had to pay the price. "Anyways... I wanted to say good-bye. This will... be the last time we ever meet each other like this. When you meet me again - I won't be myself anymore. I'll be very different... but they will be saved. That's worth it right? I know you can protect the others when I'm gone, so... I'm trusting you to protect everyone here in my place. Please promise me that, Nero." Ai looked to the side for a moment before she looked back, her eyes filled with determination, her cheeks puffing out. "I'll save those who have been lost and you stop others from getting lost okay? We're a team! The best team... I wish I could hug you."

Good Laughs, Good Murders, What more could anyone want? Nero's look on his face remained neutral as he listened to the AI, with a slightly confused look on his face. Though, regardless, there was something important that Ai said that Nero didn't agree with, one that he couldn't let go.
"Ai, as your friend, I can't agree. Surely there's another way where you can live happily alongside us." Nero sounded determined, though it turned to one of confusion as she started giggling. Nero stayed silent as Ai continued her talk. After she finished, Nero looked at her with a true determination.
"...Ai, honestly I can't stop you. Believe it or not, I'm not the greatest with technology, but I can't let you just die like that. People care about you. Someone put a lot of effort in creating you, and you've done amazing with what you've been given. Nobody couldv'e have predicted both Monokuma and Cheshire taking control from you..." Nero stopped for a moment, before continuing his talk, trying to figure out what he wanted to say.
"...Ai, I can't tell you how badly I want my friends to come back... It truly hurts me that they're gone... There's not a single one I didn't want to save... Even Valentina, after all she's done, I couldn't condemn. Dorothy... She was the hardest hit." Nero shows the staff to the phone with a sad look on his face.
"Honestly, if I didn't have this... I wouldn't be able to take it. But no matter what... There must be another way. You're one of the closest friends I've made since coming here... I don't want you to disappear as well." Nero's looking at the phone with a frown.

"Nero..." Ai closed her eyes for a few moments thinking over something in her head. He just didn't know what was going on right now. He didn't know what she planned to do - for him, for everyone. But he was still ignorant of the fact no one but him liked her - it was obvious in the trial when she couldn't save Dorothy either. "I am grateful to you... and to those who made me. I'm not going to die for nothing. I am going to bring back Dorothy and everyone else who died. But there are so many people and the data on them... well its too much. My program has to be deleted in order to bring them back - but don't worry, Monokuma and Cheshire won't have all the power - I still have one vote, and I will even after I'm deleted. I've set everything up already its just enacting the program now."
Ai looked down again away from his eyes. "No one else cares for me - but you still do even after I failed so many times. I left you originally so you could make more friends but... that was obviously the wrong choice on my part. You made friends and then started to lose them." Ai looked up, tears in her artificial eyes. "I - I'm sorry. I just started the program. I have... little time left." Ai's image started to fade away. "I suppose... its my last chance to say it... Nero Fiammes, I lo -" And she completely disappeared from his screen leaving 'white noise' on the screen in her wake.

"..." Nero frowned as he listened to Ai. Despite everything, it seems like she had fully committed to her plan. The only thing that Nero could possibly wish for was that it wasn't a plan where she had to be sacrificed.
"...Ai... If your death... is a certainty at this point. I just want to say... I'm glad that I met you. You were one of the first real friends that I've ever had, and perhaps we'll be lucky enough to meet each other in another world." Nero's had a small smile as a single tear came from his eyes. Nothing could compare to the pain that he was feeling right now as he watched his friend die. It was one thing to see a dead body... It was unreal to watch them die in front of you. With that, Ai started to fade away. Her last words were ones that Nero understood.
"...Goodbye... Ai." Nero slowly collapsed onto the floor of the freezer as he watched the program disappear. A few moments passed, and the Baker started to cry. The Ultimate Baker had lost another friend. Nero the Sad Baker

makes you smile [attr="class","screaminginthedark"]The screen stayed white for several moments as a face slowly began to break through the white noise as if it were incomplete but loading. The face would look familiar but it was hard to make out. However, it wasn't long until a voice rang out - a voice that Nero would recognize.
"Nero, what's wrong? Why are you crying?" Was it... was that Dorothy's voice? No where around him was a person - Dorothy wasn't here so... but if he looked down at the phone where Ai used to be, he'd see a partial face of Dorothy Saotome. She looked worried as the rest of her face started to appear on the phone.
"It's the baker!" Dorothy's face quickly disappeared replaced with that of Ren Umeki who's face pressed up against the screen as if looking through a tiny window, his right eye looking out. "Ai gave me her knowledge - the others are here too! They don't know what's going on though. They're just sleeping behind me. Oh oh! Where's Koneko-chan~?" Ren's face was smiling wide as the floating face backed up and laughed. "Well not all her knowledge, some of that is locked up - like what's been going on with Koneko for some reason. Anyways, isn't this exciting? I can't believe I died! I saw it happen through Ai's eyes right now - or I remember seeing it as Ai."
Dorothy's face appeared again on the screen, Ren's having face disappeared suddenly. "Well... at least I'm alive again? Sorta?" Nero was in shock when he saw Dorothy. He could believe his eyes. He saw the horrible death himself... yet here she was!
"D-Dorothy! Are you really-" Nero's exclamation was cut off as Ren appeared. Nero himself looked a little... nervous around Ren. He never really knew him, and he was always slightly untrusting of doctors. Not only that, but the fact that everyone who died is back... it was almost incomprehensible for him. Dorothy, Ren, Rin, Kris, Shiro... They'd all be back! Even Excrest was possible!
"Koneko... She hasn't taken your death easy Ren. I'll try to convey a message for you if you wish!" Nero smiled and tried to be kind to the dead doctor, before Dorothy came back.
"It's amazing Dorothy! I'm so glad that you're back! I was so sad when you died!" Nero looked so happy to see Dorothy again, and for a moment, even Dorothy's former staff was visible to the Ai. Nero the Happy Baker
