"This kinda sucks..."
Like some of her peers, Ignia tried to look for a way out of Monoworld, but failed miserably. Slightly annoyed at her lack of success, she wandered around aimlessly until she stopped at the café for a small rest. She thought that just saying her name was enough, as she felt that telling the others her talent of the SHSL Arsonist might scare them away. Fire was dangerous if left alone, after all. And her talent was burning down everything she saw. "Maybe someone'll be brave enough to join me?", she thought after sitting down at one of the many tables, with a glass of water in her hand. Even firestarters need to get a drink sometimes. Speaking of firestarters, Ignia pulled out her trusty lighter and played around with it. Alexia Takana

Alexia was just recovering from the video she was shown, still telling herself to not think about it and just belive it wasn't real. She decided that the cafè was a good place to relax and get her mind off things.
However, when she entered she saw one girl playing with fire.
Alexia didn't belive it, she had seen this girl near the fountain before, but to control something such as fire seemed so remarkable. So she approached her.
"Ignia... Brand, correct?" She said sternly "May I...?"

When Ignia saw the other person arrive, she put her lighter away.
"Yup, that's me.", she said. "What's up?"
The Arsonist wasn't sure what'd come next, if she was going to be scolded for playing with fire like that. It's not like there was anything really burnable around, and she went to great lengths to ensure that her hair didn't catch fire.
"Why don't ya come over here? A lil' chat might be good for both of us."
Ignia motioned for the other girl to sit opposite of her.

Alexia approached the girl.
"Ah, allow me to introduce myself..." She saluted "Alexia Takana, 1st division, at your service." She dropped her arm and then took a seat.
"How about you?" She asked, "And, if you wouldn't mind, I would like to know about your interest in fire."
Alexia knew this was her chance, a chance to forget about the events and get down to business. Learning about the players and their talents would be a great start, she thought. But, she somehow still felt wrong whilst asking her questions.

"Alexia, eh?" Ignia said. "I'll memorize it."
The clothes gave away that the Arsonist's conversational partner was a police officer, but she didn't really care. All she cared about was the person wearing those clothes and what their personality was like.
"My interest in fire? Well, let's just say my parents share the same affinity for fire that I do. My dad's a pyrotechnician, and I love his fireworks."
Ignia felt that she shouldn't give everything away right from the start. Where would the fun be in that?
Looking at Alexia, the Arsonist had to stifle a giggle. "Ya know, if we hadn't met like this, I guess ya'd have to arrest me, ain't that right? Arson's pretty illegal."
It's not like being arrested would do either of the two a service, considering they're both in a pretty lawless place.

"Oh? An arsonist?" She asked "Consider yourself lucky then... However, I do hope back home you do not use fire for illegal purposes."
Alexia couldn't put her finger on it, but the arsonist seemed perfectly fine about the current situation, as if she liked being here. But, it also felt as if she was hiding something...
"Hmm, I'm curious..." She looked at Ignia "It seems as though you want to be here... Am I correct?"
No, hold on, the video. Alexia thought to herself. Anyone would want to leave this place after seeing that...
"And if that isn't the case..." She said sternly "Then do you mind telling me who was on the video?"

"Well, I set stuff on fire to satisfy my need for knowledge, ya know? Lookin' it up just ain't the same, even if it'd be safer." Ignia stated bluntly. No reason to hide anything from a cop, is there?
"I don't wanna be here either, but think of it this way..."
Ignia showed Alexia the video she saw, of her parents lying dead on the ground and all of her family's possessions being on fire.
"That is bullshit of the finest caliber. There's no fucking way my parents would let this happen. This has to be fake as hell. That's why I ain't worried, ya know?"
The Arsonist leant back on her chair.
"I'm of the firm belief that whatever ya saw on your video was fake as hell too. It's just a stupid incentive to make us go kill one another."
She looked at Alexia.
"Ain't that right, miss officer?"

Ignia hit a nerve when she stated that, she was still highly sensitive to the video... But, if she belived it was fake... Then...
"Yeah... I suppose you are right..." Alexia stated in a sombre tone.
There was still little she knew about Ignia... But, to be honest, Alexia didn't mind at all... She just felt the need to get information out of her...
"What about your hobbies... Aside from pyrotechnics of course..." Alexia asked "Surely you must have a couple, right?"

The Arsonist noticed Alexia's reaction.
"Ah, I shouldn't have done that, eh?", she asked. "Well, whatever..."
Ignia twiddled with her thumbs a bit once the police officer asked her what her hobbies were.
"My, uh, hobbies include folding origami. Ya know, those paper cranes and all that? I've got a small collection of that stuff back home. I'm also fond of chopping firewood and going on camping trips. Best thing of those are the marshmallows, I tell ya. Otherwise... hey, wait a sec. Why'd ya wanna know all this?"
The Arsonist looked Alexia straight in the face, expecting an answer.

The police officer laughed at her statement.
"Why? Well, why not?" She said. Trying to play it cool. Although she loathed people like her. She still had to get on her good side. "Look, we are all equal here. Alright? So I was just asking to get to know you more! Is that so bad." She said almost too sweetly.
"Or, have you never had friends before?" She looked at the arsonist

Ignia raised an eyebrow. "Are ya serious? Ya expect me to buy that? No way."
"Who the hell does she think she is? If I told her even more, she'd totally try to use that against me somehow. I don't buy that equality BS either. Ya either kill, or ya get killed."
"Ya know, I do have friends...", she said. "But I didn't tell 'em my entire life story in the first five minutes of me meeting 'em, if ya catch my drift."
Ignia shook her head. "Now that ya extorted me, how 'bout yaself? Then I'll see my for myself."

"I would hardly say your interests are of your 'life story'" She chuckled, proceeding to put her feet up on the table. "And also, I don't expect you to 'buy' anything either." She leaned in close and toned her voice down "But only because we are in a fucking amusement park with fifteen other students we don't know... So I don't blame you for not siding with me. All I ask, is to get to know you..."
Alexia returned to her normal position and shrugged. "As for my interests... I really enjoy boxing and police-work (shocking, I know) and I suppose I like the feeling of working alone." She chuckled again "Because the feeling you get when you catch criminals by yourself? Ohhh, It's like a drug" Alexia cleared her throat, realising how inappropriate that statement was. "I suppose I also adore dogs... I mean, what's not to love about them?"
Alexia took off her sunglasses and looked Ignia straight in the eye. "So how was that? Ms. Brand?"
