[attr=class, mbox] Valentina sat across Nero, occasionally, sipping her tea that she had prepared for Nero. There had been an awkward silence for the past twenty minutes. And it wasn't because of the various stares of the clowns making a rather oppressive atmosphere for everyone, no. It was quite the opposite really. It was due to her actions during the trial that claimed the life of Dorothy a day or two prior. She done something, rather unforgivable for a Goddess who wanted to change herself. Though, with the new motive on the way, she decided to put change on hold for the time being. Right now was just inner willpower to stop herself from reverting to her previous self. A self which only cares about being the betterment of all others rather than just being the best version of herself. "So." she meekly said to finally add noise into the void. "I can feel it." there was no good way to start this conversation than going straight into it. "I can feel the envy becoming harder and harder to control. Soon, I'll be envy. Just envy. That is perhaps the scariest thing imaginable. We all know what happens when I'm envious." She sighed. "How are you holding up?" | Valentina Rossi

Good Meals, Good Friends, Good Laughs, Good Murders, What more could anyone want?
Nero took a small sip as he looked at Valentina. It was... an interesting interaction that was unfolding. It was nice tea, but he wasn't really sure what to say. Considering what she did to his leg, and how he failed her... It was all his fault, and he needed to repay h-...
"It's already working it's way into my mind... Valentina... It's not as bad as Envy... but I'm trying to keep a clear head as long as I can..." Nero sighed as he took another sip, smiling at the taste.
"...I suppose I was a fool to think this motive wouldn't affect me, even for a moment. Oh well... This is nice tea though, thank you." Nero had a small smile on his face as he tried to do what he could to help Valentina.
"Besides, you're stronger than this motive Valentina... You can do whatever you put your mind to, including overcoming your-..." Nero looked unsettled as he felt his emotions influence his words. This would certainly be interesting for him. Nero the 35% Baker

[attr=class, mbox] "Thanks Nero, but right now I don't know if that's you or Monokuma's motive, so I have to take it with a grain of salt. Even though I totally deserve all compliments as the Goddess of all people." She chuckled a bit to lighten the mood. Funny and ironic, in a way, that she would have to do that in a room full of clowns. They certainly weren't doing there jobs, so she probably must. Her chuckle died down into a look of pure guilt as she looked at Nero right in the eyes and simply said "How's the leg?" | Fighting Envy

"I'm not sure either...I wonder how the others are going to take it... I'm already having some difficulties figuring out which is my own mind, compared to this motive... But regardless, I think that you have a better chance than the rest of us of beating this. After all, you've been working on repressing your envy for quite a while." Nero took another sip with a concerned look on his face. This wasn't even close to the end of the week, it's barely been a day since the motive started and Nero could already feel how intense the corruption was.
"...Don't worry about my leg... accidents happen, right? What matters is-... Sorry, it started influencing my mind again..." Nero had a frown as he felt his mind urging him to be kinder and more supportive to Valentina. It wouldn't bother him... if he didn't know that it wasn't him talking.
"...My leg isn't great... You see Dorothy's staff?" Nero picks up the staff next to him and offers it to Valentina. "I can barely walk without it... It'd take me more than a few minutes just to get to the door."
Nero had a frown as he looked at the leg, temporarily pulling up his pants leg and turning his leg around. It was more than clear that Nero hadn't taken care of the cuts on his leg very well. Even though more than a week had passed, Nero's leg didn't look any better than during that initial cut. Nero the 36% Baker

[attr=class, mbox] "Problem is, I can only suppress it for so long." She glanced down at her cup as she realized the inevitability of the motive.
But her primary concern was that of Nero. "I'm...I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I did that to you, even a Goddess like myself should have no reason to do something like that to you. I just don't what to say. There will never be a time where I can properly forgive you for something like this. I, I just don't know what else to say. I'm a better chef than you. Maybe if I knew that Khepri wouldn't be killed, I wouldn't have done that to you." She sighed as she leaned back in her chair. | Envy

Nero opened his mouth to respond to the Aromatherapist... but he reminded himself that Valentina's control must be slipping. It seemed that even after a day, it was starting to get troublesome. Meditating might be for the best, if that did anything.
"...Valentina, your envy is getting slightly worse... but I'm sure you can overcome it..." Nero tried to resist it to the best of his abilities. It was him talking that time, he was sure of it. It wasn't the motive... probably.
"For my leg, it's... fine. I was able to get Dorothy's staff... and it helps me walk." noted Nero as he took the staff and showed it to Valentina. Even with the crack in it's sphere from... it's purpose in the third trial, it was able to help him quite a bit so far. Nero the Kind Baker

[attr=class, mbox] Silence once again held over the aromatherapist and the baker. She stared at his new staff and suppressed a sudden urge to take the staff from him. Take his walking stick from him because the stick looked cool. But, how? How was a piece of wood with only sentimental value to Nero only could possibly make Valentina envious at all?
Monokuma. There wasn't even a need to think about it for more than a split second. The motive made her more and more envious of apparently the smallest of things, which may or may not sip through normal thought processes. So, where were they to do now?
Continue talking about how much Monokuma's motive affected them? Valentina's hastening Nero's quickly deteriorating leg? Embrace the motive and just allow it to take hold? No matter how Valentina looks at it, she'll lose control eventually. They'll all do... | Slipping

Nero looked confused as he waited for the Aromatherapist to speak up. It had been more than a minute since either of them spoke, and Nero could swear that she had been looking at his staff. It was certainly strange, but Nero payed it no mind.
"Is there something wrong Valentina?" Nero's thought processes eventually led to the thought that something might be wrong. Perhaps she was having a problem that he could help with!
"Just remember, I'll always try to help you, in every way I can!" Nero had a small supportive smile on it while his mind ignored what she had done to him only a few days ago. A few seconds passed, and he remembered something fairly important. Right now, they were very close to a kitchen!
"Are you hungry? Do you want me to make something for you?" Nero had a inquisitive look as he questioned the Ultimate, all too ready to go into the unsettling kitchen and start cooking for Valentina. Nero the 37% Baker
