fear is sacred.
This room is...like a cave, really. The floor feels rough even through your shoes, and upon feeling it, it's like damp, unflattened rock. The walls arch up to curve into the roof, and stalagmites hang precariously from above. Cold water drips down occasionally. The door you entered from stands behind you, and honestly, you may feel like turning back. Instead of beds, you've been given 21 coffins, forming a circle around a dingy yellow rug. While 15 of them are empty, the other 6...contain your dead companions. If you get close and inspect them, they appear as if they're simply in a deep sleep; but their chest doesn't rise nor fall, and their skin is wax. It seems Monokuma had mockups made up of them. When you feel Koneko, however, it's still her. She's deactivated. You may hope all robots go to heaven.
The coffins themselves are lined with crushed red velvet, and each one has a button on the inside. When someone lays in the coffin and presses the button, it closes the lid and lowers them into the ground. The ground where the coffin resides closes up, and, well...hopefully you can handle some claustrophobia! After a while, you might realize the coffins are sort of comfortable. If you press the button again, you are taken back to the room and the lid opens. We don't suggest trying to avoid going underground; those lids don't lock, kids. If you press the button with no one inside, it doesn't seem to work.
The cave has one door on the far wall, containing several toilets, showers, and sinks. If you ignore the fact the water within is a deep maroon, it seems pretty nice, actually!
