The Body
The crystalline palace sat tall. Impending. ...Gorgeous. It was really like a dream come true, wasn't it? Everyone wished they had this luxury at some point or another, and even if it was another part of your gilded birdcage, who could complain? Perhaps it could serve as a temporary refuge until you were saved. Monokuma had glided by earlier, giggling something under his breath about...bedrooms. If you had to guess, the Castle held the rooms of the students?
But as you stepped in, the room grew colder...and colder. The wind had died and gone away, as had the body that currently lay at your feet. Did she look...familiar? No, she couldn't have. Whatever resemblance she had to someone you once knew was impossible, and this girl was very, very dead. Of course, you...didn't...notice...the lower half of her body was...gone.
Silence fills the air.
You have found a dead body. |

"Oh. My. God." were the words that came out of my mouth.
"That is a high quality prop!"
"It looks real and everything!"
I was pretty surprised at the quality of the work they put into the show. I wasn't sure what the point of the display was but it was kind of neat for them go so far. They probably want to build suspense or something.

Mamouro looked again at the body...well, torso... that lay on the ground. He couldn't see anything that looked particularly fake about it, but then again what did he know about making a prop? It wasn't entirely out of the question that the skin was fake. I mean, you can make some pretty neat stuff nowadays. That said, the blood he knew was real. He had bled enough and made others bleed enough to know the real stuff when he saw it. There something about the consistency and shade that's hard to fake. If it was a prop like Mr Comedy said,it probably wouldn't be human blood though. If it's for making a prop look real, then it'd be from a pig or chicken, or something.
"I wonder why they wouldd put a fake body here though? Maybe it's another incentive, for us to kill? You know, so we don't end up like her."

A dead body. Willow shouldn't have been surprised, of course whatever sickos had thrown this together would probably have killed before.In fact for all he knew, this might have been a normal theme park at one point and this girl was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Still this was pretty horrifying. The trickster had seen dead bodies before but never like this. It served only as a grim reminder of where they were and who was keeping them there (A terrifying theme park and a sadistic teddy bear). This whole castle needed to be investigated.
The Boxer and the Comedian had already arrived. So far this whole experience hasn't seemed to hit them yet.He could hardly blame them, he didn't want to really believe it either. But they needed to face reality if they were going to survive.
"The body is real. Smell that horrible odor? That's the smell only a corpse makes. This girl isn't some kind of prop, she is a real dead person. I am going to look around, I suggest you do the same. Maybe when the others get here we can at least give the girl a proper burial." Willow said, trying to keep his composure.

Koji stopped in his tracks. A dead body? How? He didn't think anyone would have acted on the absolute power motive... After all, it was obviously a massive fabrication! Either way, this was definitely a dead body. Was this the one who was shot in the struggle? No, it couldn't possibly be... After all, rifles don't eliminate you from the waist down...
He had to look away after a while, dead bodies aren't exactly... fun. He went to the guy in colorful clothing, who was laughing at the body, and mentioning something about a "prop". "That's not a prop. That man is... d e a d ."
(Note: Read stuff like t h i s as if the words were displayed, and they're being typed slowly for dramatic effect)

Taro wandered into the magic castle and saw the body. He immediately wen down and checked for a pulse. He's see people survive with worse injuries, so there might have been a chance she survived. Of course, it might have been wishful thinking. She's dead either way.
He quickly went up to the comedian and punched him in the face.
"A person is in fucking two parts and you have the audacity to call her a prop! Fuck you. She's real. I've seen a lot of death in my life and I can say, without any doubt that she's dead."
Taro did not have time to get Sir Laughs-a-Lot a lesson in something called "denial". He wiped the blood off of his knuckles onto a napkin he swiped from the cafe earlier. Deaths are serious and not something to be brushed off.
"Here's some questions we need answered now!"
"Question 1: Who is she and why is she in Monoworld?"
"Question 2: Assuming the dissection wasn't her cause of death, who or what killed her?"
"Question 3: Why leave the body in the Magic Castle? Why not leave it in the Fountain where we would all wake up to see her?"
"Question 4: Where's the rest of her?"
He looked towards Iocus, then Mamouro, then Willow, then finally back down at the body.
This is going to be a long day.

nobody ever made you dig deeper Root was having a dandy little time just exploring the theme park, as the construction of black holes and the physics surrounding them floated through his head. Black holes were interesting, Root thought, they held the key to time travel. They were singularities, they were a measurable amount of mass, usually around four times the mass of the Sun, compressed into an infinitely tiny amount of space. There was so much that black holes could do. They could be worm holes, pathways to other places in space, giant holes in space and time, perhaps a pathway to another universe, or even outside the universe itself. That was why Root was smiling as he made his way up to a very interesting feature. The castle. He’d been meaning to explore it, and now was the best time of all, as he scribbled down some math he’d figured out pertaining to the rotation of black holes.
He didn’t even notice the others who were there, nor the dead body, even after people began talking. It was the director talking saying she would be sick that finally got Root to look up and look at the girl before looking at the dead girl. Root raised an eyebrow and looked at the body with such fascination. Wow. A dead body. Maybe he could dissect her brain. He didn’t normally get to look at brains. At least that half of her body was still there, he couldn’t do much with the lower half of the girl. Root was torn between looking completely insensitive in front of Mariko, and giving into his fascination. Perhaps he could find a good in between.
“Wow, she really needs to pull herself together.”

Alexia approached the castle, as there had seemed to be a sort of crowd forming near the center.
"No harm in exploring..." She said to herself quietly. "But what are they all up to...?"
Alexia walked swiftly though the enterance and pushed through the crowd surrounded around the certain place in the castle.
"Alright," She shouted "What the hell is going on here..."
Of course the next thing Alexia saw was a dead body, lying lifeless on the floor. She had seen many dead bodies before, but this one seemed more gruesome...
She sighed "Hey, are we going to examine this body or not?"

Ignia went along for the ride. Why wouldn't she? It's not like she had anything better to do in the desolate place she found herself in. As she was walking closer to the castle, everyone stopped and looked at the ground.
Welp, there was a dead body there. A girl sliced neatly in half. Wonderful.
Ignia really didn't pay attention to what some of the people said, but Taro's questions intrigued her. So of course, she replied.
"For questions 1 and 2, the answer's the same: We dunno. It's not like we've ever seen her before somewhere, or have been here before. For number 3, I'd say the bear did it on purpose. I mean, if we woke up and the first thing we saw was a dead body, we'd know straight away that shit was about to go down. 'Course, waking up in a strange place in the first place isn't exactly nice either. Maybe that body serves as some sorta warning? Hell if I know. And for number 4..." She shrugged. "Probably somewhere here in Monoworld. It's not like we have any clues, and to be honest I don't wanna search for a lower half of a person who's gonna feed the maggots sooner or later."
The Arsonist never really minded dead bodies. Death tended to happen everywhere worldwide, so dead bodies aren't anything special to her anymore.
