As Mayumi covered one part of the room, Liam took another. It was a rush to find as many clues as possible before the trial began. He hadn't let Val kill him yet, and he wasn't going to let her have him killed because he didn't investigate her murder in time.

The scene of the brutal incident was their current point of interest, and in all likelihood, the one most likely to yield useful evidence. Two lives had been lost yet again, which would increase the chance of the one responsible having made a mistake. If there were mistakes to be found, they would locate them and use them to their advantage.

"...Two bodies in one place... is it possible there will be more...?" Nero did not sound optimistic as he looked around, investigating the murder scene. To be honest, the fact that his two friend's bodies were so close to him was making it hard for him to focus... All he could see was the dark future ahead of him... But for now, he couldn't focus on his pessimism, he needed to investigate so everyone would survive the trial rightfully. Nero the Sad Baker

Liam wasn't sure how the whole "artificial intelligence" thing worked, but maybe Ai would still be in there if he played around with her phone a little. Before doing that, however, Liam checked out the room itself to see what he could find.
