Their numbers were growing smaller and smaller, but... she's still here, isn't she?
'Of course I am,' thought Caelie, and for just a second, her lips curved into a small grin. Blink and you would've missed it.

Triumph didn't last though, not here in Hell's Circle. After her previous defeat (which was really the fault of Orica and Nero), to be forced to stay for even a second longer in this awful place... she couldn't help but let out a heavy sigh. It's true that the act of performing an autopsy - and you bet that Caelie was going to give it her all - fell onto Caelie by default after the death of Koneko, so opposing it would've simply been a vain attempt at defying logic.
But why did they have to die in here? Why couldn't it have been in Heaven's Gate? She would've loved being in charge of an autopsy all the way up there.
