[attr="class","les"]Everything was ominously quiet, but that was a given considering the location. Mayumi rose from her extra stuffy coffin, brushing herself off. She was already in a terrible mood after the last trial: she felt dumb, depressed, hopeless, the list goes on. She walks up to Nero's grave.

They didn't know each other very well, but she could easily infer that he wanted to befriend her, and she felt the same to him. To have him revealed as the perpetrator from the Future Foundation was shocking as is, but to have discovered that he had the nerve to kill someone was fucking absurd. She missed him… but she could never forgive him for what he did, even if the person he killed was a total douche. Killing is wrong, no matter the reason.

She just stands at his grave, grieving the symbol of hope.

Dreams... they frequented the doorstep of her mind almost every single night like overzealous vampire evangelists. It's been that way ever since she was a child, nightmares and all.
To some extent, she's learned to control them. Through lucid dreaming, they became something... better, not that this place didn't have a way to ruin almost anything with its dreadful undertones. Still, she definitely preferred this over its alternative. After all, they provided her an... interesting method for self-evaluation.
What better way to figure out the true nature of someone than to let them be God?
And it was fun!
However, morning always beckons. Sleep's respite bleeds away like the sands beneath a waning tide, but just like them too, Caelie knew that they'd always come back. Eventually, the day will pass, and she'd get to play God once more.
She'd coped this way before; she'd done it for a long, long time. Even if everything else might one day prove unreliable, at least her mind would never disappoint.
...Stepping out of her coffin, Mayumi quickly came into view. Silently, she clicked her tongue.
"Good morning."
Using her fingers as some sort of comb, Caelie smiled as she attempted to smooth out what bed-hair there was.

[attr="class","les"]Mayumi sighed, facing Caelie. After the trial she started to have new observations about Caelie, something about her just didn't seem right to her. However, the graphic designer needed to gain the trust of as many people as possible after the collar event back on the island. She didn't want to relive such isolation and self-loathing, but most of all she wanted to change for the better. Hopefully, gaining Caelie's trust and friendship might turn things around, even with her relationships with Irene and Nox.

Where Mayumi was standing - as well as her disposition, or what of it that's been figured out so far - brought a... saddened tinge to Caelie's smile. Truth be told, the prompt sighing that Mayumi had offered wasn't something she'd fancied either.
Although this girl was someone that she'd initially dismissed, it's starting to look like Mayumi had become somewhat of a central figure among those still living.
It's peculiar, if you asked Caelie, but c'est la vie.
It was troublesome though. Caelie didn't like her, not really, and she could scarcely guess whether such emotions were returned vice versa.
Well, she could guess, but that's all it'll be.
"Am I interrupting your grieving?"
Glancing over to Nero, she stayed seated in her coffin.
"I find that sometimes... sharing the process with one other helps both parties heal."

She sits down on a nearby rock, resting a cheek on her palm, sighing. Mayumi did not expect Caelie's behavior, recalling how she called her out on the island. Despite that, it felt nice to hear that coming from her.
