is anything sacred?
How many times have you all done this in the past? Each time before, one of you driven by some selfish need or desire ends up betraying the group and brings the life of one of your castmates to a premature end. Like so many other times, you had investigated, there had been a trial and a guilty party had been uncovered. The formula had seemed so routine that it seemed inconceivable that something could happen to change the course of your lives here.
And yet, something did happen. For the first time a murderer went unpunished, three lives lost and unavenged. A killer gone to places unknown, free and released unto the world. Another one of you, someone who had (for some reason) been one of the unpopular people left among your number had revealed themselves as a Future Foundation member, and punished swift and severely.
So where do we go from here? After the trial most have you had gone to bed, trying to drift off to sleep and put this nightmare behind you. After what feels like no time at all however you’re jolted awake by a banging on your bedroom door, one after another as if someone is walking by knocking on every door trying to get somebody to open the door. You want to ignore it, maybe if you sleep forever this nightmare will just go away but as the pounding continues, you take a deep breathe, steel your nerve and open the door to see…
A cute face. Blonde hair, smooth skin like that of a doll, beautiful clothing that no matter how you looked at it just seemed to scream excessive wealth, although the effect was no dampened by the sleeves now dangling loosely, unfilled. Nana Smimedzu, sent in as an agent of the future foundation as you all discovered not that long ago pauses, one foot in the air ready to give the door another kick. Neither of you say a thing for a moment before Nana finally sets her food down so she’s standing on both feet and gives a small, defeated sigh.
“...We need to talk. Meet me in the Runway, I’m gathering the others.”
The blonde…(former?) violinist then turned away, slouching to the next door and gives it a series of kicks. What could be so important that she’s gathering the rest of your survivors? Good news? Bad news? Only one way to find out.
