Entering the Kitchen from the Main Area or the Dining Room, it doesn’t really matter; it’s still claustrophobic. With counters, cabinets, an oven, a dishwasher, and a fridge, you can really only walk in a straight line from one door to the next. Two people heading in opposite directions would surely be a hip-bumping catastrophe! Or somebody would fall. After all, the floor and walls are made of black-and-white tile, and the floor seems freshly waxed.

The counters are a shiny maroon color, and they hold a variety of brushed-nickel commodities. A microwave, a knife block, a dish rack, a coffeepot, an electric kettle, all matching the texture and appearance of the oven, the stove, the fridge, and the dishwasher. The cabinets are the same maroon as the counters, but they’re a flat color. They’re filled with various dishes, glasses, cups, and bowls. One cabinet is filled with huge stacks of napkins, forks, knives, spoons, and various cooking utensils, pots, pans, and other containers.

There’s flour, sugar, and other resources such as that in glass jars near the fridge. In the fridge, there’s raw meat, lunch meat, eggs, various soft drinks, juices, vegetables, fruits, and sauces. It takes a while, but you can find bread in a small drawer filled with alcohol. Is that a stupid yeast joke…?
